France beat Belgium 1-0 in Tuesday's semifinals (10/7/2018), while Croatia toppled the 1966 England 2-1 win over extra-time on Wednesday (11/7/2018).
Both national teams previously played five times. France have won the three matches, while the other two produced a draw.
The first match was played on July 8, 1998, the World Cup semifinals. Les Bleus won 2-1 and advanced to the final, which they won over Brazil 3-0 at home.
France and Croatia last played in March 2011 in an international friendly, but the draw was 0-0.

The Croatian team has a pretty unexpected opportunity to win the title with a stunning journey this year. The team played in the shadow of the 1998 squad, but it seemed to inspire the players. Defender Vedran Corluka said: "We are in the semi-finals again, after 20 years. It's something special in our country. "
